Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and documenting quantities.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
