Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance before starting shifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning tags and logging stock movements into the warehouse management system.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline operations and meet daily production targets.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including organizing storage areas and cleaning workspaces.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to operate forklifts in various weather conditions (indoor/outdoor).
