Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance and optimal functionality.
- Organize, stack, and secure inventory according to safety protocols and company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S principles and OSHA regulations.
- Accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class A or B is a plus but not always required).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
