Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, locate, and stack merchandise safely.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper placement and security.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly adhering to 5S standards.
- Verify inventory counts and update stock records accurately using handheld scanners.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain one via our training program).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Basic math skills for inventory and quantity checks.
- Strong attention to detail and a proven commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse facility.
