Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in safe, working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated areas for efficient retrieval.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following traffic patterns.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including packaging and labeling as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator License (CPC or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating machinery.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
