Responsibilities
- Safe Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Accuracy: Perform regular stock counts and maintain accurate records of inventory movements using warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free working environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with high accuracy and speed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of hazards to maintain operational flow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator License (Certified forklift training required).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Focus: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
