Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain forklifts daily, reporting mechanical issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines
- Organize warehouse storage areas to optimize space and accessibility
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
- Complete accurate inventory documentation and shipping/receiving logs
- Assist in training new operators on equipment and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
