Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move products efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, stock, and organize inventory to maintain accurate stock levels and facilitate order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Load and Unload: Properly load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring cargo security and preventing damage.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure optimal workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating machinery.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and warehouse staff.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
