Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in inventory counting and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Unload inbound trucks and prepare outbound shipments for delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding inventory shortages or damaged goods.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFP) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and safety orientation.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
