Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to move, locate, stack, and retrieve merchandise within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring weight distribution and safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure forklifts are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as requested.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of hazards (OSHA compliance).
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies regarding material handling.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Must provide certification details).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and scanning.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License (preferred).
