Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, unload, and stack materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through barcode scanning and inventory audits.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and understand warehouse pick tickets.
