Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks using proper equipment, ensuring cargo is secure and undamaged.
- Perform daily inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular forklift inspections and housekeeping.
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and safety inspection reports.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in training new team members on proper equipment handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
