Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload trucks, verifying quantities and ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to prevent accidents and improve workflow.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Inventory management, including counting stock and updating inventory records accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and ticket verification.
