Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload trucks accurately, adhering to shipping schedules and receiving protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory counts and accurate record-keeping using warehouse management systems.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding shipment status and potential operational issues.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA preferred) or demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) safely.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking, counting, and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) may be required for on-site driving tasks.
