Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on all forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain organized storage racks.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Handle heavy pallets and packages safely, adhering to proper lifting techniques.
- Keep the work area clean, tidy, and compliant with 5S standards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong ability to lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing between 50 to 100 pounds.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging data.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record.
