Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
- Organize, stack, and secure inventory on pallets and shelves to prevent damage and ensure easy retrieval.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in inventory counts and record-keeping processes as required by management.
- Follow all company policies and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and logging inventory.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
