Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to move, load, and unload materials from trailers, docks, and storage areas.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by scanning pallets and verifying load manifests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing protective gear and following proper lifting techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely shipment and receipt of goods.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous forklift or warehouse experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and logging inventory.
