Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Inventory Management: Perform daily cycle counts and ensure accurate stock levels are maintained in the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Freight Handling: Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintenance Checks: Conduct routine inspections of machinery and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free warehouse environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or material handling is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting inventory and processing orders.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
