Responsibilities
- Operate various types of forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and properly tagged for inventory tracking.
- Conduct routine safety inspections of forklift equipment before and after each shift.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist in the packing and shipping of orders to meet strict delivery deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (Must be present upon hiring).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
