As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. You will ensure inventory accuracy and maintain a clean, organized workspace. We value safety above all else and provide comprehensive training for all equipment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move products throughout the facility.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure stock levels are accurate and orders are fulfilled on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage of pallets and materials.
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as packing, labeling, and order picking as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift (1+ years preferred).
- Current forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of basic warehouse safety protocols.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
