Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, locate, and place inventory efficiently within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers and trucks according to strict safety protocols and shipping schedules.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in inventory counts, stock management, and order fulfillment processes.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding inventory levels and potential bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a proactive work ethic.
- Basic computer literacy for logging data or scanning barcodes.
