Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and logging stock movements into the ERP system.
- Perform routine pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe, working condition.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational policies.
- Collaborate with inventory managers to ensure stock levels meet production demands.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of slip, trip, and fall hazards.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFOT) or equivalent professional experience required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal safety instructions.
- Valid driver's license (if required for warehouse driving duties).
