Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in fast-paced warehouse environments
- Load/unload trucks and containers with precision while adhering to weight distribution protocols
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Manage inventory documentation and verify shipment accuracy using RF scanners
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA/EPA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Utilize overtime hours to meet critical production deadlines during peak seasons
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends during overtime periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with RF scanning technology preferred
