Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect shipments for damage and ensure accuracy of inventory against packing lists.
- Monitor and maintain the temperature logs for refrigerated storage units to ensure product integrity.
- Package and label items according to company standards and safety regulations.
- Keep the storage area organized, clean, and free of hazards.
- Assist in inventory audits and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (0°F to 40°F).
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including overtime.
- Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
