Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in temperature-controlled zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment following OSHA standards
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming/outgoing perishable products
- Maintain detailed inventory logs and sanitation records for compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and company safety procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
