Responsibilities
- Operate Machinery: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to load and unload shipments efficiently.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels in the warehouse system.
- Temperature Compliance: Monitor and document storage temperatures to ensure all products meet safety and quality standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the storage area clean, organized, and free of hazards in strict adherence to OSHA regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies before processing.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a cold environment.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- License: Valid forklift certification is a strong plus but we provide training.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous when handling inventory and safety logs.
