Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Pick and Pack: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are organized and accessible.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and safe by following all OSHA safety protocols.
- Shipping & Receiving: Verify incoming shipments against invoices and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment (MHE) and perform daily safety checks.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when processing orders and inventory counts.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- License: Forklift certification is a plus but not required for all positions.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
