Responsibilities
- Accurately sort, scan, and package customer orders according to Amazon's quality standards
- Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) with proper safety protocols
- Maintain organized inventory using handheld scanning devices and warehouse management systems
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to achieve daily productivity targets
- Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and participate in regular safety training sessions
- Support facility cleanliness and proper waste disposal procedures
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners
- Valid government-issued photo ID and authorization to work in the US
- Reliable transportation to the Newark facility (public transit accessible)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required
