Responsibilities
- Oversee 20+ warehouse staff including hiring, training, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Optimize inventory control systems, cycle counts, and warehouse layout for maximum efficiency
- Ensure OSHA compliance, safety protocols, and accident prevention measures
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, dock scheduling, and third-party logistics partners
- Implement process improvements using lean methodologies and WMS systems
- Manage budget allocation, equipment maintenance, and supply procurement
- Generate performance reports and KPI tracking for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- OSHA 30 certification and Forklift Operator certification
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Proven track record in safety compliance and incident reduction
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
