Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Lead the definition and execution of the 2026 technology roadmap, aligning technical capabilities with business objectives.
- Innovation Leadership: Research and prototype cutting-edge technologies (AI, Edge Computing, Quantum) to ensure our solutions remain ahead of the curve.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and executive leadership to translate complex technical visions into actionable development strategies.
- Technical Due Diligence: Assess emerging tech vendors and frameworks, providing critical insights for acquisition and integration decisions.
- Talent & Culture: Mentor a high-performing team of futurists and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all future tech initiatives adhere to ethical AI standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in senior technical leadership, with at least 5 years specifically focused on strategic innovation or R&D.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Machine Learning, Neural Networks, and distributed systems architecture.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of identifying disruptive technologies and integrating them into business models.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our Austin, TX headquarters.
