Responsibilities

- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, autonomous systems, AR/VR 2.0) for commercial viability
- Partner with VCs and startups to identify disruptive acquisition targets
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Coordinate with MIT and Stanford labs for collaborative research projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ in future-tech planning
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Technology journals preferred
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, etc.)
- Fluency in English with Mandarin/Spanish as a plus
