Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 tech roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Lead market analysis for emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, biocomputing, etc.)
- Present strategic briefings to investors and executive stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused allocation frameworks
- Partner with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich on collaborative research initiatives
- Design ethical governance protocols for next-gen autonomous systems
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (3+ case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, or climate tech
- Certified in Futures Thinking (CFP) or Strategic Foresight methodologies
- Published white papers on technology disruption (IEEE, ACM, or similar)
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (DARPA, NSF, etc.)
- Fluency in Mandarin, German, or Japanese for global stakeholder engagement
