Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026+ innovation cycles
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating emerging tech (quantum, AI, biotech) into product roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite to align future tech investments with business objectives
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Conduct competitive analysis in next-gen tech markets and patent landscapes
- Present technology disruption scenarios to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build relationships with academic institutions and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture capital
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Proven experience developing 5-year+ technology roadmaps
- Exceptional analytical skills for modeling complex tech adoption curves
- Published thought leadership in emerging tech (papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
