Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuro interfaces, decentralized systems) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological innovation with business objectives and market disruption
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global tech consortiums
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and lead a specialized Future Technologies task force
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership within tech/consulting sectors
- Proven track record in forecasting and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, AI governance, or Web3 infrastructure
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience building high-performing technical teams and managing innovation budgets
- Deep understanding of ethical implications and societal impact of emerging technologies
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
