Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuits for real-world optimization problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial deployment
- Create hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Lead quantum algorithm benchmarking and performance tuning
- Collaborate with cryptography teams on quantum-safe encryption standards
- Document quantum system architectures and implementation blueprints
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging quantum programming languages
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum computing research
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published work in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Knowledge of NIS2 quantum security regulations
