As a key member of our R&D leadership team, you'll identify transformative technologies, assess market readiness, and develop actionable plans for adoption. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and engineering teams to ensure our organization remains at the forefront of technological evolution.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and develop 3-5 year implementation strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technology initiatives with business objectives
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and identify first-mover advantages
- Build technology adoption roadmaps with measurable KPIs and ROI projections
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and secure funding for strategic initiatives
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate cutting-edge solutions
- Mentor junior innovation specialists and foster a culture of experimentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with emerging technology assessment and roadmap development
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with executive presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging technology domains
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
