Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term technical strategy for Horizon Core Technologies, focusing on futuristic tech stacks and scalable architecture.
- Lead and mentor a team of senior engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Drive the research and development of novel technologies, including AI integration, quantum computing applications, or advanced cloud native systems.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring code quality, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Represent the engineering department in high-level discussions with investors and industry partners.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or technical lead role.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern programming languages (Python, Go, Rust).
- Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of machine learning principles and their application in enterprise software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
