Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, neurotech) and assess commercial viability
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and establish innovation incubators
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and manage a cross-functional innovation task force spanning engineering, product, and legal domains
- Author thought leadership reports on industry disruption and competitive positioning
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success and ROI measurement
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or emerging tech consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) or strategic management
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and technology adoption curves
- Track record of implementing enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
