Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and regulatory shifts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, decentralized AI, and biotech integration
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Drive ethical technology frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Mentor C-suite executives on emerging tech implications and disruption vectors
- Secure $10M+ annual R&D budget through stakeholder alignment and ROI modeling
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and global tech policy summits
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years at VP/director level
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field required
- Proven track record commercializing emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Published author in IEEE Nature on future tech ethics or governance
- Experience securing SBIR grants or EU Horizon Europe funding
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- CISSP or equivalent cybersecurity certification mandatory
- Portfolio of at least 3 patented technologies in future-tech domains
