Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps mapping technological convergence and societal shifts
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for 2026 market disruptions and opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-forward solutions in quantum computing and climate tech
- Author white papers on emerging trends for executive decision-making
- Build cross-functional coalitions to accelerate adoption of breakthrough innovations
- Monitor global signals from academia, startups, and policy labs
- Present strategic foresight findings to investors and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technological shifts
- Experience with scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
