Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market opportunities
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with C-suite objectives and industry disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale breakthrough solutions with 18-24 month horizons
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global R&D hubs
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Champion a culture of experimentation by managing innovation incubators and hackathons
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting future business landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate strategy, innovation management, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 3+ year market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis frameworks, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or equivalent analytical training
