Responsibilities
- Maintain precise inventory records using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment in sub-zero environments
- Monitor and document temperature/humidity levels in -20°F freezers and 35°F coolers
- Implement FIFO rotation protocols for perishable products
- Conduct daily sanitation and safety inspections per HACCP standards
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Train new personnel on cold storage safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or warehouse experience
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in -20°F environments
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Flexible schedule availability (nights/weekends as needed)
- High school diploma or equivalent
