Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Monitor temperature controls and humidity levels to maintain optimal storage conditions
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using proper safety protocols
- Conduct inventory counts using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Sanitize and maintain equipment/facility to meet FDA and USDA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient logistics operations
- Document daily activities using digital tracking systems
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Experience in warehouse operations preferred but not required
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
