Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated and freezer sections
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Inspect and record inventory levels using warehouse management software
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Load/unload shipments while maintaining product integrity
- Perform routine sanitation and maintenance on refrigeration equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or refrigerated warehouse
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
