Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move palletized goods within the cold storage facility using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning products and maintaining accurate logs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and temperature control protocols.
- Organize stock areas to maximize efficiency and prevent bottlenecks.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues immediately.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of shipments for distribution.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and cleanliness standards required for food and pharmaceutical storage.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (typically below 40°F).
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
