Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize goods within the cold storage facility.
- Machinery Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain strict temperature logs to ensure product integrity.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA safety standards and wear required PPE.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a cold storage, warehousing, or logistics environment preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in extreme cold (-10°F to 35°F) and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator Certificate (must be willing to get certified).
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Background: Clean background check and drug screen required.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
