Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to move materials efficiently and safely
- Manage inventory with RF scanning systems to ensure accurate stock levels
- Maintain clean, organized warehouse spaces following OSHA standards
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams to optimize workflow
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs proactively
- Train junior staff on material handling best practices
- Support cross-functional operations during peak demand periods
Qualifications
- 2+ years of material handling experience in industrial settings
- Certified forklift operator with valid OSHA 10 certification
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
