Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming materials to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move stock safely and efficiently.
- Picking & Packing: Fulfill customer orders by retrieving items and preparing them for shipment with precision.
- Quality Control: Perform routine checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before storage or shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and records of inventory movements using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but we offer training for the right candidates.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and data entry.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
