Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks, railcars, and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Verify incoming shipments against packing lists, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies immediately.
- Pack, seal, and label products securely for domestic and international distribution.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and update stock counts in real-time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all 5S guidelines and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
- Assist in the organization of storage areas to optimize space utilization.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not mandatory for high-performers.
- Valid Forklift Certification (Class A, B, or C) is a significant plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly over an 8-hour shift.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse software or handheld devices.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
