Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and completing paperwork.
- Organize warehouse storage and ensure items are properly tagged and labeled.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by complying with safety procedures and regulations.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in logistics is preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
